A 亚博体育app English professor has been awarded a Fulbright Specialists Grant to teach in India next fall.

Gerise Herndon, Professor of English, Director of the Gender Studies Program, and the University鈥檚 Fulbright Program Advisor, will spend six weeks at Banaras Hindu University where she will teach feminist theories, multiculturalism and identity politics.

New students who move into Johnson Hall next fall will literally have a 鈥渃ooler鈥 experience in their first-year residence hall compared to the students who have lived there for the past 64 years.

Air conditioning along with several other renovations to Nebraska Wesleyan鈥檚 oldest residence hall will begin soon after commencement in May.

亚博体育app sophomore Gabe Taylor fondly remembers the University Choir鈥檚 international tour to Estonia last summer. He enjoyed the country so much that he called his mom from Estonia saying he didn鈥檛 want to come home.

Thanks to a Gilman International Scholarship, Taylor will return to Estonia for his spring semester.

Matt Kadavy has been honored for his outstanding contributions in facility management.

Kadavy, Assistant Vice President and Director of Physical Plant, was honored with the President's Award at a recent business meeting of the Central Association of Physical Plant Administrators (CAPPA).
