Nicholas Wohlgemuth

Dr. Nicholas Wohlgemuth is a virologist and science educator dedicated to increasing student engagement through active learning and inquiry-based research experiences. He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where he studied how the influenza A virus uses cellular machinery to replicate. His passion for teaching and mentoring future scientists has taken him from laboratory research to innovative undergraduate education.
