Whereas the 亚博体育app Student Handbook contains policies regarding alcohol use by Nebraska Wesleyan students; and

Whereas the Administration receives requests to serve alcohol at events held on 亚博体育app property;

Therefore be it resolved that

The Board of Governors authorizes the Administration to implement the following guidelines related to serving alcoholic beverages on 亚博体育app sites:

1. In general, alcoholic beverages are not served at 亚博体育app public events.
2. The Administrative Council of the university must approve in advance all proposed events where alcohol will be served.
3. Public intoxication and/or disruptive behavior related to the consumption of alcoholic beverages will not be tolerated.
4. All serving of alcohol must be handled by a third-party contractor who will verify that all persons consuming alcohol have a valid ID that contains their date of birth and shows that he/she is not a minor.
5. The third-party contracHtor will provide only beer and wine.
6. No alcohol may be transported out of the designated area for each event.
